September 2012 Meeting: Visit to Down House, home of Charles Darwin

Our next meeting will be a visit to Down House, the home of Charles Darwin for forty years and one of the major visitor attractions of the South East. See the study in which he worked and the extensive gardens. A fascinating visit, arranged by member Harry Stranger, Councillor of the London Borough of Bromley.

Meet at 12.15 pm at Orpington Station and bring your Travelcard or Oyster Card for the shuttle for Downe. Please confirm attendance to Philip Green (networks [at] guernsey-society.org.uk).
