Meetings in London

Saturday
20 February 2010

Lunch, followed by an illustrated talk to be given by Eric Snell, Lecturer in Art and Design at the Guernsey College of Further Education, whose original and inspiring projects have included, 'View through to the other side of the World', described in the Winter 2004 issue of The Review, and the recent display of stick-figures by Anthony Gormley on Castle Cornet - part of the International Artist in Residence Programme of which Eric is head.

"Are we missing an opportunity?" he asks. "With increasing interest in contemporary art, and the growth of cultural tourism, could this Programme act as a platform to attract visitors to the island?"
