Meetings

The Society meets three times a year in London, and monthly in Guernsey. Non-members are welcome at all meetings - and may join the Society at the meeting if they wish.

Talk from Capt Peter Gill, the Guernsey Harbourmaster, on the challenges of his role in managing the harbour, ships registry, shipwrecks, maritime search and rescue and the local lighthouse authority.

Following lunch there will be a visit to St Sampsons Church under the guidance of John McCormack FSA, author of Channel Island Churches and The Guernsey House.

After lunch there will be a visit to Candie Gardens.

Lunch at Auberge du Val, Sous l'Eglise, St Saviours. Time: 12:30 for 1pm.
Following lunch there will be a guided visit to St Saviours Church, again with Guernsey Society member John McCormack.
